ABOUT THE HOST
Self-proclaimed love idiot, Haley McGee is also an actor and the author of the forthcoming book, The Ex-Boyfriend Yard Sale.
A few years ago she attempted to pay off her credit card debt by selling items given to her by her various ex-boyfriends.
But how do you put a price-tag on all the time, money and emotion you invest in your romantic relationships? Haley wasn’t sure, but she became obsessed with trying to figure it out. Along the way she created The Ex-Boyfriend Yard a critically acclaimed one-woman show all about how she worked with a mathematician to make a formula to price the stuff from her exes. The show has now been adapted into a book. And now she’s investigating this topic even further with the best brains she could find on The Cost of Love Podcast.
When not banging on about love and money, Haley works as an actor on stage, screen and radio. Her solo shows have toured extensively internationally and been translated into four languages. And she teaches artists how to overcome creative blocks and earn money from their art in a variety of online courses.
Originally from Canada, Haley now lives in South East London. She loves pancakes with real maple syrup, spending time outdoors and reading.
